What is Vampire Snake?
Vampire Snake is an addictive bullet-hell roguelite with a snake body. Think: what if Snake and Vampire Survivors had a son? Grow a living tail, draft auto-weapons, and outlast three named bosses. It is free on Android at launch, with iOS planned.
How do I play?
Use the joystick on the left to move and the DASH button on the right to perform a short invulnerable blood dash. Your weapons fire automatically. In the pause menu, tap JOYSTICK to switch between a fixed lower-left stick and a dynamic stick that appears anywhere you touch on the left side. On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys and Space or Shift to dash.
Why do I need to tap ENABLE MUSIC?
Browsers and mobile operating systems block audio until the first user interaction. Tapping ENABLE MUSIC, Begin the Night, or any menu control unlocks sound. The game itself still works without audio.
Where is my save data?
Progress, Blood Shards, upgrades, unlocks and best runs are stored locally on your device. There is no account or cloud save in version 1.0.0. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the game deletes the save.
Can I move my save between devices?
Not in version 1.0.0. Saves are local to the device. Cloud save is not currently planned for the first release.
Why is the game landscape-only?
The arena and bullet patterns are designed for a wide view. The Android build locks landscape orientation. Tablets may rotate depending on the operating system, but the HUD is built for landscape.
How do I improve performance?
Open the pause menu and cycle Quality to Medium or Low. Low reduces resolution and disables bloom. Close background apps if a long run becomes choppy; large late-game waves are the heaviest load.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. The Android build bundles all game assets and does not need a network connection to play.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
Version 1.0.0 is free with no ads and no in-app purchases. A future update may add optional AdMob advertising and a one-time purchase to remove ads. The privacy policy and store listing will be updated before that happens.
What Android version do I need?
Android 7.0 (API 24) or newer on a device with WebGL 2 support. A recent device with at least 3 GB of RAM is recommended for the smoothest experience.
Is an iOS version available?
Not yet. iOS is planned; release news will appear on this site and in the changelog. Do not install an unofficial “Vampire Snake” app from another publisher.
Save data
Delete your local progress
Vampire Snake has no account and no server-side save. To delete everything, open Android Settings → Apps → Vampire Snake → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. This cannot be undone.
